The Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is one of the world’s largest fundraising events and organizations that raises awareness of Alzheimer’s and raises funds for specialized and groundbreaking treatments and research. Every year, hundreds of communities all around the country and the world will host a walking event. Jerry Kelly Heating, Air Conditioning, Electrical and Plumbing has participated in and sponsored the St. Charles Walk to End Alzheimer’s® event for the last three years, and we are once again doing the same for 2017. This year, we are excited to say that we were gold-level sponsors.
This charitable event is truly important to our team. We decided to repaint our entire fleet of service vans and vehicles purple in honor and recognition of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s® event, purple being the vanguard color of the association. Also, whenever we complete a service call, we donate $1 to the charity.

- Date: Saturday, September 30th
- Time: Registration is at 8:00 AM; ceremony at 9:00 AM; walk begins at 9:30 AM
- Route length: One or three miles – walker’s choice
- Location: St. Charles Community College, 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Charles, MO 63376
So far, there are more than 1,500 participants registered for the St. Charles event. Walkers can register as part of a team or as an individual. The fundraising goal is also set at $367,000 but the actual amount raised – at the time of this writing – is roughly $80,000 short. We need everyone’s help to make and surpass the goal!
